It is more than
just a place,
it is more than
a word.

Not only is it
where you grew up,
or those bricks
who had witnessed
it happening;
nor it is
people you love,
call family; find peace with,
one you share your
deadly demons with.

It is that feeling
that you cannot describe;
one which brings
belonging along
with it—
sometimes, one you
can call your own,
even if it belongs
to so many others;
yet, never
does it give up
on you;
neither pushes you away;
home tucks us
all in a warm blanket
of welcoming,
in people, places
and poems.
